Welcome & support

Welcoming with dignity

Many recently arrived Afghans are lost in administrative procedures, live in reception centres far from Paris, or wait without the right to work. We want to welcome, guide and support them.

Planned support

A simple pathway, in Dari and Pashto

1

First welcome

Listening and assessing each situation; referral to the 115 emergency line, SIAO, SPADA and the one-stop shop for asylum seekers.

2

Access to rights

Explaining procedures and letters, preparing for the OFPRA asylum interview with an interpreter, online procedures (residence permit, family benefits, health insurance), family reunification.

3

Integration

French classes, preparation for the republican integration contract, referral to France Travail (the employment service), training, housing and higher education.

4

Social connection

Tea house, cultural activities, volunteering and mentoring by local residents.

Learning

Planned classes

So that children can read their grandparents' poetry, write to their families and stay proud of both their cultures.
